Spring 2026 Product Roadmap

A preview of upcoming LingoMate features — French curriculum, course word modes, and polish across reading and speaking.

Here's a snapshot of what the team is working on this season. Timelines can shift, but this reflects our current priorities.

French A1 curriculum

We're authoring the first French beginner track (A1.1 and A1.2) with unit-based vocabulary, dialogue practice, and grammar sequencing mapped to CEFR expectations. Units are designed so learners encounter the same words in reading, drills, and conversation — not as isolated lists.

Course word & dialogue modes

Course units will support multiple practice surfaces:

  • Word mode — speak vocabulary in context with pronunciation feedback
  • Dialogue mode — scripted conversations that mirror live roleplay UI
  • Sentence drills — completion and speaking phases tied to unit grammar

These modes reuse the same visual language as the rest of the app so moving between study types feels seamless.

Reader & library polish

The immersive reader continues to get attention: hybrid difficulty levels, cleaner word panels, and progress that syncs across devices. We're also expanding the curated library with level-appropriate articles.

Speaking & voice

Roleplay sessions and voice calls share transcript-first layouts. Upcoming work focuses on lower latency, clearer pronunciation feedback, and more scenario variety (café, travel, workplace).

We'll post detailed release notes here as each milestone ships. Want early access? Join the waitlist.
